Visko vs sähkö tuuletin

Järjestetäämpäs tänne vähän väittelyä/keskustelua, kertokaa myös millainen järjestelmä itsellä on autossa.

Fan Disengagement
Common sense might dictate that the clutch fan suffers from the same problems as the old mechanical fan. However, the clutch fan's viscous fluid will only transmit so much power between the water pump snout and the fan blades; at high RPM, the drag of the fan blades overcomes the fluid's ability to transmit power, effectively disengaging the fan at high RPM. This means that the clutch fan only draws power at low RPM where it does its best work. Otherwise, it pulls almost no horsepower from the engine
Electric Fans
The energy that an electric fan draws isn't "free." A typical electric fan runs on 12 volts and may draw as much as 25 amps of power, which comes out to 300 watts or about 4/10ths of a horsepower. To put this in perspective, a typical fixed mechanical fan can draw around 15 horsepower. The reason that electric fans can operate with so much less horsepower is that the fan motor runs at a consistent RPM. As such, manufacturers can optimize the fan blade size and shape to operate efficiently within a very narrow RPM range.
Comparison
The clutch fan's ability to disengage at high RPM means that it has a fairly negligible impact on outright horsepower. However, the clutch fan's ability to disengage at high RPM is also its Achilles' heel, especially for off-roaders. Off-road vehicles tend to spend a lot of time at very low speed and high RPM; this is a recipe for disaster when relying on a clutch fan to cool the engine. In cases such as this, an electric fan will almost always return better results than a clutch fan. On a typical road-driven vehicle, an electric fan will generally outperform a viscous clutch fan where power and economy are concerned, but it might not be enough to be noticeable.

Lyhyesti suomeksi ilmastuna edut ja huonot puolet.
Visko
+ Tehokkaampi
+ Säätyvyys matalilla kierroksilla
+ Hiljaisempi
- Kalliimpi
- Moottorintehohäviöt matalilla kierroksilla
- Säästää laturia
- Vie paljon tilaa
+/- kytkeytyy pois korkeilla moottorinkierroksilla.
Pahimillaan 15-20 heppaa
Sähkö
+ Halpa
+ Tilansäästö
+ Hyötysuhde/taloudellisuus
- Kuluttaa laturia
- Yksinopeus
- Kovaääninen
200-400wattia
Talviautoissa muutenkin tarvetta kuumemmalla termarilla, jotta sisällä on lämmin.
